Transmission: 700R-4
Axle/Gears: 3.73 factory posi. disc brakes
too high no low

my highbeams work but my lowbeams don't. what is going on and how do I fix it?

need to see if your getting voltage to the bulbs, if you are replace the headlights

if not then its prob your multi function switch

if your gettting voltage to the bulbs then its your bulbs or its the ground for the lights, could be the connector also, do the low beams come on when you turn the highs on????

anyway the multi funct is in the stering colum thats, it what the turn sig lever is hooked into, but if you volts at the plug than its not the MFS

the low beam has 2 filiments in it one is on at low beam the other comes on when your seperate high beam (your inside 2) comes on, its like to suplement the dead area between the high beam light patern and the front of the car (or something like that) if they come on then it just happens to be both of your lows are blown, i suggest replaceing the with silverstars and doing the upgrade on the link i gave you
