left turn signal is funky
So this is a little off topic, since its not about third gens, however maybe someone can help me. My gf's parents just bought a 1998 plymouth voyager (don't ask me why, not my recommendation) but anyways, the left turn signal went funky shortly after they drove it home. for starters it doesnt work. originally we suspected the bulb, and so we put a new bulb in and nothing. so the its not the bulbs fault. I checked if there were independant fuses for left and right turn signals, but there arent, so its not a blown fuse (i don't think). The light just plain wont turn on, also when you put the signal on it blinks like twice as fast as the normal speed right turn signal (it doesnt actually blink, but you can hear the ticks and see the little arrow in the dashboard). and one last thing, the dashboard has buttons for the heater and rear window wiper and whatnot. the lights that light upthe butons at night are making some sort of lightshow and blinking randomly. thought maybe it was a code for something and i plugges in my scan tool but nothing came up. the seller said it was going to go away, but it seems shady to me. anways to sum it up:
-Any ideas why the left turn signal wont light up (I'm hoping its not the wires)
-Why the hell does it blink so fast?
-Why are the lights in the dash going all funky?
Any ideas or imput are greatly appreciated, thanks alot.
