YEA...BAD STUFF!
I have a 90 camaro and where the cig lighter is supposed to be, there are 2 bare wires, when they connect, theres sparks and almost flames...am i gonna have to take the whole dash out to find the problem or can someone help me out?

first thing you need to do is put some electrical tape on those wires. this may save your car from a fire, if they are sparking some one may have wired them without a fuse.

I am curious to know what exactly the wires went to, the lighter? or something someone else mightve installed before i bought the car...and how does the lighter hook up? is it like a plug? or just wires connecting to it?

from the factory it had a plug round like the lighter
