Hey guys, When I purchased my car it came with a 1986 hatch, with the 3rd brake like. I was stressing over having to run a wire from the tail lights up to the hatch but turned out, that there was already a connector in the headliner that gave me DC voltage when I pressed the brakes (Checked with my handy Greenlee meter)

So my question is, did 91's come with hatch lights? I thought they were only in '86.

Funny you should ask that question today, because I ran into that very thing over the weekend while in the junk yard. I got a rear spoiler off a 91 Firebird (junk guy said it was a 91) that had the high mounted brake light at the top of the rear glass. I'm going back to that junk yard today, so I will verify the year of the car. If it is a 91 and you need the light, let me know, I can pull it for you. This "pull-it-yourself" parts yard just about gives this stuff away, i got the spoiler for less than $11 and a rear bumper cover for $16. Clean southern sheet metal too.

 

not on the 91 but on the 90 and also on the verts. right now im looking for the darn bulbs, which do not have a number on them. there are 5 in there and all mine are out.
