auto trunk latch stop working. NEED HELP ASAP.
i just opened my trunk and and now it wont retract when i close it. ive tried taping on the motor and checked my fuses but i dont know what else to do. need to fix fast. it wont close all the way.

There is a reverser switch.
Sometimes that switch gets sticky or the contacts wear out.
Also the motor can develop a dead spot on the commutator.
