just a quick 12v source question

besides coming off the positive battery terminal with a inline fuse

and tapping off the 12v radio wire

what else can i use as a 12v source to tap off of without screwing anything up?

just worried because i already have 3 accessories coming off the radio line and wondering if i should spread it around.

or if i need to add something else in the future i want to get 12v from somewhere else

everytihng works i just feel i need to start looking elsewhere so i dont blow a fuse or under power some of my stuff.

i already lost one of my digital gauges but i'm not sure if it was from a factory defect or wasn't getting a solid 12volts

the leds inside slowly died one by one until i couldnt read it anymore for my digital fuel pressure gauge. worked for about 2months then slowly died.

im guessing factory defect just alittle concerned thats all

thanks

Re: just a quick 12v source question

I would tap into the "bat" or "ign" terminals on the fuse box. Just run a fused wire off one of those terminals to your new device. Just make sure the fuse matches the current draw on the device (actually the fuse is a little higher than the draw).
