I'm installing a new auto meter fuel gauge and iv'e been looking for the wire from the sender on the wiring diagrams but i'm still not totally sure on the exact color of the wire in the dash. I've read some posts about the wire being purple at the gas tank, but under the dash there is only purple with white stripe. Is this the proper wire, or is it a different one. Thanks!
