I havent been able to drive at night in forever..Id be sooo gratefull for some help.. The lights wont come on or flip up or down at all.. But my turning signals work right beside my headlights..Those are the parking lights correct?? Well, they still work as turning signals..But wont come on as the parking lights..Its in the same switch as the headlights..I opened the switch completely and cleaned it out put it back, nothing happened, if it was bad could i visually see that its bad? thank you

 

Set Light switch to "HEAD" position. Connect Test Light at light switch connector red wire and ground if the test light doesn't turn on check the fusible link and red wire for open.
also check continuity between yellow and ground if the test light does come on do the next step below but if it doesn't make sure your dimmer switch works
step 2
set dimmer switch to "LO" position, connect a 15 amp fused jumper between disconected light switch connector "RED" and "YELLOW" wire. If the lights work replace the switch. to test your high beams do the same test just put dimmer on high
if the lights don't come on in either test check for a short in the grounds
and if grounds good replace switch
