Camaro Horns

Hey Guys,

My '91 RS has a nice deep, throaty horn, and I rather like it. My Pursuit Car also has a rather nice horn. My new Daily Driver, a 2004 Grand Prix, has a horn that I feel is a bit too 'tinny' for the size and look of the car. I'd like to upgrade. What I want to know is...were all the Camaro horns the same in that era? Could I walk into a GM dealer tomorrow and buy a replacement horn and have it sound like the current one on the car, which I assume is original? Or would my best bet be to go to CanadianTire (or NAPA, or similar), and buy a generic horn?

They should be available.

We need horns more these days due to the brain dead dits staring at their phones instead of the traffic light.

Happy Racing!

Fog lights are not driving lights. Turn em off grandma.

How bout those dorks too scared to drive without headlights or in the daytime!

Oh no, the dark side.

Dealer list on the horns is $66 each. Rock Auto lists AC Delco's $36ish (be sure and get a discount code). There is a high and low note you need to get if you want the same sound. Maybe just add the low note to your existing horn.

As for the high and low note...would the existing horns on the Camaro have markings of some sort, that would allow me to pick up an exact duplicate? Be it either a part number, or a frequency?

Thanks guys!
