ok so i have been looking and looking but i cant find something like my prob. about a week ago i took off my dash and changed the bulbs. then out of no where this beeeepppp noise stayed on as if i left the lights on or the keys in the ignitiion. weirder still all the gauges worked, and the light on the hvac and shifter work and dim. so i fix the beeeppp noise by grounding out a wire from the second connector (the one closest to the center of the car) and voila it stopped, but agaiin now dash doesnt light up, gauges work... lights in hvac work and shifter too. ohh... fuses are not blown.

p.s. car is a 92 chevy 3.1L
