location of fuel injector ground???

I want to test my injectors as part of a flooding issue. I can't seem to locate the ground to test for ohms. Where and What am I looking for? (I did do a 'Search') Thanx, Nitro-Nicky

Re: location of fuel injector ground???

One side of the fuel injector is wired to a fused hot source. The other is hooked directly to the ECM, which switches ground to activate the injectors.

To test the injector, take the connector off and test the resistance between the two terminals directly on the injector.

Re: location of fuel injector ground???

Thanks for the info prompt. These are new balanced 24#'ers and apparently if I want to see if they are staying on to long (for the over rich fuel condition) in the duty cycle, I'll need to verify the resistance at the fuel rail. Apparently the ECM fires a bank of 4 injectors each cycle and all 8 plugs of mine have little pools of raw fuel in them. Additionally, I'm not having much success in prompting my ALDL cable connection to check on the issue with a scanner. Nitro-Nicky

24s in a 350 are fine. I have them in mine. It's a little rich in open loop, but fine once the O2 sensor heats up. Are you saying your spark plugs are wet?
As for the ALDL, try to clean and tighten the grounds on the back of the passenger side head.
