relay wiring
I've done a few searches but didnt find the answer I was looking for so anyway.....I'm wiring in a aftremarket fog light system that didnt come with a relay and now I'm adding one but I'm not sure how to wire it. It is a 4 pin 30 amp relay. My guess is to connect my 30 amp inline fused feed from the battery to the 30 pin, the lights to the 87 pin, the ground to the 85 pin and the switch to the 86 pin. Sound right? The relay is a replacement for the Pilot brand fog lights and didn't come with instructions. Thanks

Here, check this out.

I would instead put the switch on the ground side of the relay and route the ground to energize it.
