Temp Gauge Question

Transmission: BakerBuilt 700R4 w/B&M Megashifter
Axle/Gears: 3.23 Auburn Pro Series LSD
Temp Gauge Question
when you start your car, for the first time in a day (so its totaly cooled down) where is the temp gauge pointing
below 100, or right at 100
mine is below 100, when i start up now, and only gets a tad over 100 when up to temp, now granted i a 160 stat, and its opening and closing right, i can tell that with my infa red thermo, pointing at the hoses
i think my gauge took a crap or maybe i just noticed it was that low at startup......here is a pic of right at startup
