high beams
Alright so i bought the aftermarket housings for our headlights off ebay with the adaptors that allow you to just change the bulbs well with my high beams plugged in and if i click to turn them on after a min or two they will start flickering so when i go back to just lows they flicker also. i have tried changing to a different bulb that doesnt help also tried regrounding the wires for high beams still didnt help so i was wondering if i could hook my high beams up to an aftermarket switch. the bulbs i have in there now are high low all in one so would i need different bulbs and would i just have to run the high beams like i would any other accessory to a switch? also i already am using 2 empty spots on my fuse box can i plug 2 things into the same thing if they have an inroute fuse and have them on at the same time or is that gonna blow the fuses or worse?

Re: high beams
do not use the same open power spot in the fuse box, if it is not fused correctly, you can burn up your harness. try a search for this, iy has been addressed several times recently. The solution involves the use of relays to carry power straight from the battery to the headlights, and basically using the stock system to trigger the relays, the flickering is most likely being caused by too much amp draw through thr switch.
