ignition switch
please i need some ones help i just replace my intake manifold gaskets and now i need to replace my ignition switch i need to know wat to do i have the column tooken apart down to the turn signal switch i heard all u have to do is drop the column let me rewind wen u turn my key nothing happens but i have power engine dosent crank and i dont get nothing on the dash ive looked and it seems the pushrod isnt connected to any thing but its real short i just need some ones help please and thank you

Take the plastic pieces off from under the column and you will see a metal U channel surrounding the column with a 13mm Nut on both sides. (also has some bolts connecting it to the column) Remove those nuts and the column will drop down.

The first thing I'd do is go back to school and learn punctuation and how to use it. I am not a teenager texting on a cellphone all day and I can't read something that doesn't look like English. I was respectful enough to learn your language so it might be nice if you did the same, thank you.
The next thing you could do is find out why the ignition switch doesn't give you power to the dash, before you replace it. As Jason said, you can drop the steering column and the ignition switch will be sitting on top of it, about a foot down from the ignition cylinder. If the rod isn't connected, it would explain why the switch doesn't do anything. If you can reconnect the rod, that would be good. But if the switch is busted (the car could have been stolen in the past), it would need to be replaced.
I guess we'll have to wait and see what you find when you drop the steering column and then we can take it from there.
