Blower Motor Dead At All Speeds
Hi guys,
Of the many wiring probs in my car I think I've got them all figured out but this one. My blower motor is completely dead. The motor isn't bad because the previous owner has it rigged directly to the battery and it works that way. I checked the resistor and it's fine, can't find the relay but itsn't that only for high speed? I don't think it's the control unit cause when I put it on ac the compressor kicks on and all the output functions work. So what should I be looking for?
Thanks
Alex

If the A/C compressor is working, then the fuse is good, because it powers the blower also.
You can put a test light on the blower resistor and check for voltage.
If no voltage at all, pull the heater control panel and check the brown wire on the speed switch. If no power, the A/C control head is likely bad.
The diagram is here, it will help you troubleshoot the circuit.
