neutral safety switch?
does the TPI require use of a neutral safety switch...i'm in the middle of a TPI swap into a gbody and i got everything out of a 90 firebird...i wasn't sure if the computer pulled a signal from that or not

If you have an automatic, the computer needs to know whether you're in gear or not.
Also, the shifter switch serves other purposes, like not letting the car start in gear and turning on the backup lights when in reverse.

My monte neutral switch is on the column and it controls the back up lights and not starting in gear from there..just wasn't sure if anything actually went to the computer because it works just fine on a my carb setup.
