Where to purchase VATS bypass module?

Hello all, I currently have a 91 z28 that I had to use the resistor method in order to start the car, runs fine, however I was interested in purchasing the plug n play bypass boxes like one can find from ecklers, etc. however they're always on backorder. Also seen some on ebay but not sure about those either, I have a #9 key.

Anyone point me in the right direction of where to purchase one thats on hand? links, etc..?

thanks
James G

Re: Where to purchase VATS bypass module?

anyone??

also upon putting the resistors in, the car started fine, but had some rough idle, didn't want to stay running for long. Today won't start at all, have the starter relay bypassed and use push button, starter engages but no fire.

upon initially placing the key in the switch, and then in the on position the security light comes on for about 2 seconds, then goes out,, does this mean VATS is still giving me $hit?

should it even be on at all?

any help is greatly appreciated

thanks James G

If you know someone who is a little handy.. You can actually go to the moates.net website and buy a G1 adapter and an EEPROM and have someone reburn you a new chip with the VATS removed.. It isn't hard to remove that feature at all.

Re: Where to purchase VATS bypass module?

turns out I had a loose connection on my ecm. Car started but still has resistor bypass. I may look into deleting VATS in the future. On another note where could one just purchase the VATS resistor plug n play boxes?

again thanks to all that have replied
