Bare minimum of wires to run a carbed 350?

Transmission: Turbo 350, w/shift kit
Bare minimum of wires to run a carbed 350?

Underhood stuff....Tach, Ignition, alternator, starter, battery, choke ( if i have one) coolant temp, oil pressure. Am i missing anything?

Other than the block ground, that looks like everything you'll need to connect to the engine.

Other stuff under the hood would be the wiper motor, radiator fan, washer fluid pump, blower motor, A/C stuff if you're running that, power steering, brakes, speedo sender if its electrical, and the lighting and horn wiring for the front end.

Does it matter where i run the block ground from on the engine? Or is it all fine as long as i have a good connection?

The negative cable from the battery should bolt directly to the engine. I have mine going to an accessory hole in the cylinder head. Then there is the braided steel ground strap that goes from the engine to the body. I have mine in one of the accessory holes in the rear of the passenger side cylinder head and it just goes to a bolt screwed into a hole in the frame rail on that side. I ground the paint off underneath the bolt head so it gets a good ground.

Ok cool. Thanks While im building my 350 up, i have a 305 that i got for free that im putting in, just so i can drive it around a bit, and move it easier.
