84 headlight motors in an 87?

Is it possible to wire 84 headlight motors into an 87? I want to get some of your input before I go and try it. My 87s motors are just about done, and I have a freshly rebuilt set from my 84 lying around in the garage.

NEED MO MOTORS

Electrically the 84’s and 87’s are different.

There is a control module in the 87’s.

If you’re on a budget you might be able to modify the interface.

Otherwise purchase ones made for the 87.

Happy Racing!

Fog lights are not driving lights. They look dorky. Turn em off slow pokes.

How bout those dorks too scared to drive without headlights on in the daytime!

I have 84's in my 87, but I also have a full 84 wiring harness.

Re: 84 headlight motors in an 87?

I've been looking at some wiring diagrams and haven't found an easy avenue. Looks like I'd have to some mildly extensive wiring. If anyone may know a simplistic way that I'm not seeing please let me know. My plan as of right now is to get some complete rebuild kits from topdown solutions. I replaced the bushings in them about 2 years ago, but that didn't last.
