I currently have the stock distributor that came with my 1982 firebird on and i am currently in the process of adding some performance parts. How much hp gain, if any, would i likely see if i added a high performance distributor to my firebird.

If this has been posted on the forums alot i am sorry for missing it i went thru 10 pages and couldn't find the awnser.

 

In my opinion, none. Adding a full complete igntion system, some, but a more precise and powerfull spark occurs...you'll need all the components to have any success. Just the distributor alone, I wouldn't bother unless your going to be adding stuff later...that's just my opinion though...
