pickup coil problems

pickup coil problems
my tach keeps jumping, needle is spazing out, ive replaced dist two times on count of this and both times it cleared up for couple months and comes back. starts with needle jumping only then progresses to engine skipping after couple days. any advice please?

may have a coommon link now, I also have accell cap, rotor, and plugs and also the msd blaster coil hummmmm..? anyone else with same cap, plug wires, coil having or had same problem? cannot keep changing distributer I know that

ive got accel 8.5 wires and msd coil and ive had 3 dizzys in this car since ive had it is it the pickup coil or control module

I changed to a MSD 8366 Dizzy, MSD Blaster coil, and MSD 8.5 Wires last year.
My rpm needle jumped all over, sometimes got stuck at 7000rpm when cranking.
Turned out to be a bad pickupcoil and a bad ignition module (on the brand new MSD diszzy) Got them swapped out and the car was fixed.
So check the dizzy again, if either one of them are broken (module or pickup) and you change the module and its the pickup thats failing, you can break the new module. So be sure both are fine.
Also check all grounds and battery voltage when the problem acoours..
