tpi wiring help!!
hey guys doing a tpi swap into my 91 camaro. for the most part my tpi harness matched up pretty good except that the purge canister is on the pass. side unlike my tbi harness where my purge canister is on the driver side. anyways there was like 4 wires that were cut just need some help identifying. these are from the loom that splits right where the harness comes out into the engine bay that goes down towards ac lines to the front (passenger side). Im pretty sure the longer ones are for the radiator fan motor. the shorter ones i have no idea plz help me out if ya know. one of the smaller ones is black/purple and the other one is just black. maybe one is a ground idk. any help will be much appreciated

Heres a closer look at the shorter ones...

Re: tpi wiring help!!
Those are for the TWO radiator fans. One pair goes to one fan, the other pair goes to the other fan.
Hope this helps.

Re: tpi wiring help!!
For a 350 TPI engine, I would recommend upgrading to the dual-fan setup due to more heat buildup in the cooling system. If you don't drive like crazy, you might be fine with one fan but if you plan on "enjoying" your new 350, the dual-fan setup would be much better.
For now, you can leave the shorter wires disconnected, they are not gonna hurt anything. Make sure you connect the the primary fan wires to your single fan. Those would be the longer wires.
Hope this helps.
