89 camaro rs alternator problem
i got a chilton and i cant understand the schematics on the electrical drawings, anyways does anyone know the alternator colors of the wires and how many b/c i'm putting a carb'd motor in my car and the harness has been cut i got most of the wires landed in the right spot im just tryig to find the alternator wire colors, thanks.

The heavier red goes to the positive stud.
The thinner red goes to terminal S (the sensing circuit).
The brown goes to terminal T (the turn-on input).

I also have an 89 rs but with the 2.8. Can you tell me what wire hooks up to the post w/nut on the rear of the alternator. I just have a connector there with no wire. Do I need a wire? What does it do? Thanks.
