speedometer problems cant figure it out

I have a 1988 camaro it use to be be a v6 its got a 350 now. I just got it a week ago and gotta fix a few things here and there on it but for some reason today the speedometer just quit workin on me. I cant figure it out. My gas guage and engine tempurature guage still work. but my miles stopped rolling to. Id apreciate if i could get some help.
