TYPICAL WIRING PROBLEM
TYPICAL WIRING PROBLEM
OK HERE IT IS IN A NUT SHELL. WHEN I PULLED THE ENGINE I FOUND 4 RED WIRES DOWN BY THE STARTER. ONE WAS HOOKED TO THE POWER POST OF STARTER, ONE WAS LOOSE JUST HANGN OUT, AND 2 WERE IN A WIRE NUT TOGETHER. THE ONE ON THE STARTER RAN INTO THE FIREWALL BEHIND THE A/C CONTROLS SO I FIGURE IT GOES TO THAT.THE LOOSE ONE(WHICH IS THE BIGGEST ONE) RAN TO THE FIREWALL ON DR SIDE. ONE OF THE ONES IN THE NUT RAN TO DR SIDE ALSO THE OTHER RAN TO THE WIRE CONNECTOR ON BACK OF ALTERNATOR. ALSO THERE WAS A SHORT JUMPER WIRE BETWEEN THE 2 RUNNING TO THE FIREWALL 6IN, FROM THE PLUG GOING INTO THE CAR(VERY UN-SAFE.) I ASSUME THE WIRES GO 2 THE STARTER BUT NOT SURE AND DONT WANT TO MESS THINGS UP BEING WRONG SO WHERE DO THEY GO IF NOT TO STARTER?
