I used to drive my 1987 GTA Trans Am with just the running lights and the fog lights on by pushing just the right side of my light switch, the left side activates the pop up headlamps. Now no matter what switch I push the drivers side headlamp comes up first alone and then the passenger headlamp will pop up if I toggle the light switch on and of a couple of times.
I have replaced the switch with a new one and the problem not fixed.

Anybody know what to try next ?
