what to do with this 2 wire plug??
hey
i doing the tpi to carb swap!
i almost done with the wiring!
now there is a 2 wire plug left from everything i need!
i have notice before i delete the tpi system that it was for the distributor!
but i have 2 plugs for the ( old ) distributor!
1 of them i using now for my new HEI distributor and have the folow colors
1 thick pink wire and 1 normal white wire, i now i must use these for my HEI.
the other is a smal plug with two normal wires
1 green and 1 bleu wire!
there is nothing more under my hood where i can put it on!
but the wiring goes to the C100 plug.
what must i do with this wire/plug?
what will it do?
can i cut it away or must i leave it in the wiring harness?
thanks dennis (camaro 1988 v8 iroc-z)

Re: what to do with this 2 wire plug??
Update: upon really extensive research ive figured it out. The alternator i was ising has a 3 pin or 4 pin terminal. These alternators require a resistive signal from the cpu otherwise the regulator goes into a limp mode for lack of better words. Since my cpu has been removed i have to switch my alternator type to a 2 pin regulated alternator which runs of s for 12v sensory wire and F or L which is the resisted ignition field loop. Before doing this im going to go through and clean up the wiring for the ignition field circuit replace the dummy light which acts as a resistor and my battery guage. Will post results.
