HELP! :(
Okay guys.. HELP ME OUT HERE. Today while I was gone my grandpa (me and him work on the car together) decided that he was going to figure out my cooling problem.. Well he did. Appearantly it was a broken heater control valve.. So he ripped it out completely and put it aside.. O_O. Ever since he did that lots of things stopped working, my horn, my button door unlocks/locks, my dome lights, etc. The headlights and dash lights still work however. WTF Happened. I was pissed, but idk what he did exactly, OH, and their is a hissing.. almost like a vacuum hissing problem that i can hear on the inside of the car.
What should I do? Will re-installing a new "heater control valve" fix these things..? Lemme know, thanks guys.

Re: HELP! :(
You most likely have a blown ACC fuse under the dash. Your horn, door locks, dome light, cigarette lighter, hatch release are all on that fuse. Most likely culprit is a short circuit in the cigarette lighter.
The heater bypass valve you removed is vacuum controlled with your HAVC controls, my guess is that the line is still open under the hood or behind the HVAC controls.

Re: HELP! :(
Most parts stores carry the heater valve....

The ACC fuse is in the fuse block under the dash by your feet. There should be a removable access panel there, if not, then the whole plastic panel needs to come off to access the fuse block, not hard either way.

Re: HELP! :(
You might still want to check out the cigarette lighter, it's most likely what caused the fuse to open up. Plug something into it, if the fuse blows, lighter is bad. Either get a new one (auto parts store), or just unplug it and leave it out.
