Wipers on speed!
Wipers on speed!
On the way home tonight, I had my wipers on delay and they worked like normal for about 20 minutes.
I noticed that they quit on me completely, and while driving, I fiddled with all of my wiper control buttons (Berlinetta
) and found that if I touched the wiper switch again I could get them to operate at the FAST speed. If I pressed it again, they stop in place. It's like they're trying to change to the slower speed but since it isn't working, they quit moving at all. None of the other wiper control buttons function.
Is there a relay or something that could have gone bad on me?

Sometimes the pod button contacts become troublesome therefore an increasing amount of pressure is required.
You can use a test meter to determine if the buttons are sending out signals.
The relay is in the wiper motor assembly.

How bout those nervous nellies too scared to drive without headlights on in the daytime or if there is a little rain!

I've had the pod assembly apart before, cleaned up behind all of the contacts etc, and it's worked flawlessly!
My issue now is it seems that my wipers have dropped their "normal speed" setting, and all I'm left with is the fast speed.
