PUSH IN CLUTCH AND STARTER TURNS?
i swaped a dash in to my car and when i push in the clutch the starter turns any ideas thanks

it isnt a 4th gen dash either its just a 90 firebird formula dash

The starter inhibitor switch on the clutch prevents you starting in gear; it lets you start when you have the clutch down ( switch closes)
Obviously you have a fulltime hot wire (wrong ) direct to the starter solenoid circuit so the clutch switch is now acting as a starter switch

My guess would be the ignition switch is shorted some how or the wires to the switch are crossed somewhere. As stated above the switch on the clutch pedal is doing what it is supposed to do. Good luck.
