wiring harness labeling?

does anyone know if theres someone i can send my wiring harness to, to get it labelled so i can just plug it in where it goes, i have a super complete harness from a 1987 GTA LB9/70024 car but i have no idea what most of the stuff is and if it were labeled it would make my installation 500x easier, unless someone wants to come to PA and help me install it lol thanks in advance

Re: wiring harness labeling?

When you go to plug everything in, the harness will fall into place. You can usually figure out what each connection is for with a shop manual and some deductive reasoning, but you can spend hours doing it and it makes a lot more sense when you just drop it into the car. If you run into a plug without a home in the process it'll be a lot easier to just post a picture of the plug and ask where it goes. There isn't a lot of danger involved, since most of the plugs will only plug into the correct device.

Re: wiring harness labeling?

1. go to motors.ebay.com
2. in search type in: tpi harness
3. watch all connectors listed and compare with your harness

DIY and free

Re: wiring harness labeling?

Very few connectors are interchangeable, those that do are not required to run

Post pics of your question connectors
