i am trying to eliminate all of my wiring harnesses under the hood of my camaro. i have a 427 dart block making 700 horsepower and dont need anything but the basic wiring. the previous owner hacked into many of the original harnesses and i dont know what i can cut out and what i cant. i still want headlights, tailights, blinkers, cab lights, and windshield wipers. my car is street legal and i want to keep it that way. my main confusion is what are those relay boxes in the driver side firewall corner of the eng. compartment and what do they do???? pics of wiring harnesses explaining what things are and what they do would be great!

Relays are for Fans, fuel pump and AC compressor clutch

 

so therefore i wont need any of them. now i just need to figure out what wires he spliced in, then make myself a wiring harness. thanks i appreciate it

Pretty much you need the C100 and a few gauge wires

Find a TBI car or 86-89 Fbody and grab the VSS buffer box to drive your speedo. Everything else should work the same as the EFI
