HID lights

bought a set of HID lites and hooked them up and turned on lite switch and both the low beams and highbeams came on at the same time... what the heck is wrong

where did you get em from? how did you hook them up? and so on more details are needed to help you out. I bought 2 sets 1. for my 87 iroc hid lows and highs 2. for my 2005 r6
both are 4300k

I hooked them into my stock light plugs and don't know where they came from, son ordered them when he was in Iraq.

you cant just plug them in to stock plugs, have to rewire the the grounds on the pins. ill see if i can find the diagram for you....or do a search for h4 conversion and something should come up

oh and are they real hid or just the h4 conversion?.......do they have a ballast with them or just bulbs with new housings?

My kit plugged right into my stock wire harness and everything works just fine...

they just have bulbs that fit in a new light housing. son has the ones with the ballasts and are they bright...... might have to order the ballasts and wire them up. thanks for the reply.

I'll try to get picts up soon gets dark too soon. I get out of work at 530 pm and it gets dark qiuck.

yea, i'd really like to see some HID's working. I've been wanting to put some into the flip-ups on my Bird for a while now. still looking for the right set and some non-cracked headlight brackets to replace mine as well as a new motor for the drivers side.
