Divide And Conquer
To locate the offending circuit connect a meter (a digital one will be the best for this problem) to the dome light across the contacts, keeping the lamp in the circuit therefore illuminated.
Keep both doors open, engine off.
One at a time, push in and release the left door switch, then the right door switch, then open and close the headlight switch interior light contacts.
The offending circuit will NOT cause an increase in voltage.
When you locate the offending circuit you just have to trace that one down for the short.
