fuel pump problems

On my 87 camaro rs limited 2.8ltr multiport fuel injected the fuel pump does not come on I think its the fuel pump its self but I need to be able to check it before I take the big step in removing the tank . I read that there is a fuel pump fuse under the hood next to the battery wich one is it the one with the red and black wire or the one with orange and red wire none of the fuses are blown i just want to run a hot wire there to test the pump. Also which relay is the fuel pump relay can you give me a pic if not a good description will do thanks i also get a code 15 but no other codes not even for the fuel pump is this odd or what

With car off, jump battery + to pin E (gray wire) of the pump relay (or the under-hood test connector) and listen for pump whine.

If People Drove Any Slower They’d Be Going Backwards

When you see fog or “running” lights on in good weather beware. Low performance driver ahead.

How bout those nitwits too scared to drive without headlights in the daytime and the nitwits that need headlights for a little rain

Which one is the fuel pump relay and if it doesn't come on is it the fuel pump and a code 15 has to do with a temperature sensure which one is it for the computer or for the gauge

Code 15 is the for sensor which reports the temperature to the ECM.

The fuel pump relay is by the booster.
It’s the one towards the right.
( Towards the passenger side. )

If the relay doesn’t come on it’s defective or not getting power or a signal.

You can test for power with a voltmeter.

There should be power on pin A (
orange wire) at all times.

You can test for signal with the voltmeter.

There should be voltage on pin D (
green wire with a white stripe) for 2 seconds when turning the key to RUN.

If repeating the signal test wait at least 10 seconds.
