Quick help (Vats).
So I know its another VATS thread but its a quickie.
Pretty much I have already bypassed my VATS by adding the right number with a few resistors. Today though it all came undone when my uncle decided to push up the wires from under the column and it made the wires come undone. Yes I did a ghetto job but I am going to fix it tomorrow morning right this time with the help of a soldering pen and some patience. Thing is, I dont see the orange cable anymore or the 2 white wires that I used for the connection. I did a good brief check and saw nothing since I did not have much time.
My main questions are, If I cant find the lead I used where would that wire end up heading into? I plan to solder on the resistors on and place it nicely this time. I saw a fellow tgo member add a very nice system which looked like a box he plugged in. I recall him saying he found it over at ls1tech but a quick searched turned up nothing, Anyone help me out with that?
Also for those who have bypassed Vats themselfs, What was your method? I know the quick method I used was never promised to last, but would just a quick solder job make it last a bit this time?
Thanks

Re: Quick help (Vats).
Unless your uncle pulled the wires out of the car, then they have to still be up there somewhere. He evidently just pushed them up high between all the other harnesses so they wouldn't fall down. So just keep looking, they've gotta be there.
The wires go to the VATS module.
Yes, soldering the resistor to the wires will secure it.
And any other questions you might have can probably be answered by all the links posted in the other current VATS thread... some good pics too.
