Cooling fan relay problems
The connector of my cooling fan relay was cut off for some reason, i have know idea why.... but i went to the junk yard, got one and spliced it on to the old wires (everything matched up). Bought a new relay and when i connect the relay the relay is constantly clicking on and off sounds like a buzz thats how fast. The fan turns on when it is connected. I have power comming from the ecm/fan switch at all times and power in run at all times. Any ideas or is this just normal for this relay

The Latest Buzz
There’s no telling what the PO did.
When you say: Do you mean the relay would buzz even if you removed the key?

Re: The Latest Buzz
No only when Key on engine off and key on engine running it buzz's. But even the car is not warm the fan turns on when the key is on. What im trying to say is shouldnt i not have power at the ecm terminal all the time when the key is on. It should only be when it sense the coolant getting to hot

Was the fan coming on before you reconnected the relay?
If it was, did it come on only when warm, or did it come on all the time?

These instructions assume the socket you added is wired correctly.
Obtain a 100 microfarad, 20 working volt capacitor.
The working volt number is not critical, anything above 12.
Connect the capacitor across the relay coil.
(Wire colors can vary on earlier cars.)
Observe polarity, + of the capacitor to pin D brown wire, ▬ of the capacitor to pin F green wire with a white stripe.
You can just tack it on to see if it cures the problem.
If the buzz goes away, you can install it permanently*.
*Now you’ll want to get at least a 20 working volt capacitor so it will last.

If People Drove Any Slower They’d Be Going Backwards
When you see fog or “running” lights on in good weather beware. WLow performance driver ahead.
How bout those nitwits too scared to drive without headlights in the daytime
and the nitwits that need headlights for a little rain
