So I was getting ready to drive home from work yesterday, I turned on my headlights but they wouldn't come on. When I turn them on the running lights come on, but my headlights don't come on at all, highbeams or lowbeams. All of the lights are brand new. I recently went on vacation and they were working fine when I parked the car. I checked some of the fuses while I was in the parking lot, but I didn't see one that was burned out.(I could have missed one though, I was having to use my cell phone as a flashlight, lol.) I also replaced my old lowbeams with new glass units with hyper white bulbs, I don't know if that would affect anything but they were working fine. Highbeams are sylvania silverstars. Could this be the dimmer switch?

 

i had this problem on my s10. see if the switch is getting real hot. if so replace it. don't get one from autozone. also the heat from the vents will make it warm.
