odometer inop
odometer inop
The analog odometer on my 87 GTA does not work but the speedo works fine. It's an L98 car if that matters. The car also only has 51,000 miles on it. Everything else in the car works fine. Any ideas before I start taking it apart?

Re: odometer inop
check to see if the sender wires are plugged in on the trans first.
if you have an extra guage pod laying around, swap it in and see what happens. Could be a burnt out motor in the odo assembly, or a broken wire, short, ect ect.

Re: odometer inop
I found a company called Southern Autotronics in Richmond, VA that knows about these clusters. They said it will cost between $150 and $205 depending on the problem.
