Guys, i have a 92Z ans when i hit my brakes my dash lights and front running come on. Is this normal?

 

Sounds like you have a short in your rear lite socket and its back feeding your other lites.

 

if you have a single filament bulb in a double filament socket will do this.also look closely at the contacts on bulbls if they melt together same thing.try removing one brake/tail bulb at a time and recheck if symptoms stop.when it does you found the offending party.also poor groud to rear lamps can cause this.

I have the same issue, thats because on the taillights u have the wrong bulbs, probably on the red ones, these bulbs should be ones with two poles on the botom, just check how is it, and change it, im sure that the problem, i have done that and it works.

 

Well i took the tail lights apart this weekend and you guys gussed it i had a single filimnet bulb is the wrong spot. Changed out the bulb and used the correct one and everthing is working properly now. Thanks guys i really appreciate the help.
