did I break something?

So today I was working on my headlight dimmer switch. My high beams wouldn't come on when I'd pull on the turn signal switch. Dropped the steering column and loosed the screws to move the switch up. Once the switch was all the way up I bolted the steering column back up. Now I have absolutely no tension in the turn signal. It freely flops back and forth. I dropped the column back down and moved the rod back and forth. I noticed right in front of the turn signal, it bulges out when I pull on the rod. Did I break something?

Re: did I break something?

sounds like you adjusted it too far - it just needs to be adjust a tad. no need to drop the column - just take the hush panel off the botom and adjust while working the lever until you get it just right.
