WIRING MY FANS PLEASE HELP! need to cool this baby
I bought this car, and the owner had toggled the fans, now i found the wires that they had clipped, when i turn the toggle on it starts smoking, so i would like to wire it back to the fan relay, but i dont no how to . Do i just connect the wires to the one laying there, now is there any order for the wires from the fans to the other wires? or just connect them?

I hate to disagree with you Nina, but fans are generally trigged on the ground leg of the relay, regardless of stock or aftermarket
I know you're doing a LSx swap, so this should help. Its drawn for the 90-92 cars, so ignore the C100 G8 designation. Your 89 will run it though the C207 pin D and the wire will be tan/wht instead of brown
