305 H.O. won't fire

Drove the car on Monday, went to start it on Tuesday night and the car would turn but wouldn't fire. Today, replaced the ignition module, ignition coil, spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, and there is NO spark whatsoever. Thinking it's the distributor itself, but I want some more opinions.

Any thoughts? I'd really appreciate it!

well if there is juice at the coil + wire, then the only other thing would be the pickup coil inside the distributor... the distributor would have to come out... are you sure there is no spark? How did you verify this?

1985 Camaro IROC-Z with a 305 H.O. 4-barrel carb.

We tested a couple of the boots at the spark plugs with an electrical probe, you know place the tip where there should be power and it lights up sort of deal.

the way to check for spark if you don't have a spark tool, is you put the end of a flat head screwdriver into a spark plug wire and then set the screwdriver about an inch or so from ground and have someone crank it, you should see a nice bright spark jump to ground....

Fixed it. The ECM wasn't getting any power and as a result, no spark. Thanks for input though!
