quick question.

whats that switch under the dash, next to the fusebox for? its silver. it does nothing for me.

There's no OE switch such as you describe. After market, though I couldn't guess the use BTW, listing your year, make and model is nearly always helpful.

i saw it on other firebirds. my car is 1987 trans am 5.0L f.i. its under the dashboard, its silver little switch

Hum, nothing I'm familiar with, but I'm a Camaro guy. I'm sure someone will chime in if it's OE. Toggle switch or something more refined?

my car is in the shop right now. but like its like straight under the steering wheel. little flip switch, its silver. like i have no idea what it does.

Valet switch for a early aftermarket alarm system. It is not a factory item.

Sounds like a toggle switch, which wouldn't be OE.

yeah its a toggle switch. and the car has that gm alarm. with a passcode on it.
