Is an alternator hard to take apart to switch the front out?
I was at the local u pull it and found a brand new alternator in a gmc safari van and for only 15 bucks I just couldnt leave it I tried it out on my dads s10 blazer and it works great now the only problem i have is It wont mount up to my 2.8 without me switching out the front plate so the mounting holes line up. Is it hard to do? I know they can be taken apart for rebuild but Ive never seen it done before.
