previous owner cut wiring to wiper motor

hi fellas, i have a problem.

previous owner of my 83 z28 cut all the wiring to the wiper motor

and just about everything else.

i have a motor and the wiring harnesses but i need to know where

the wiring starts so i can start wiring the motor back.

i can't drive her without it because mississippi has an inspection

and they won't give me a sticker without the wipers working.

so if can please help.

if there is anyone that is near me and can help getting these to

work i'll buy em a case of beer.

thanks wayne

I have a similar problem. The 83 TA I own had a fire and melted the connector to the wiper motor and washer pump. I bought a chilton's manual and it gives me the colors of the wires. It just doesn't say which connectors on the motor and washer pump go where. Was hoping to find a new/like new connector instead of hitting the junk yards.

Hey fellas. Do you know if you have the multiplex wipers or the two-speed? (Multiplex is pulse-delay and 2 speed is just that.. high and low)? I have an original Pontiac shop service manual for '83 so I can probably help

I have the pulse wipers. My chilton's gives me the colors, but not the location on the connector. Hopefully even a good pic will do.

Re: previous owner cut wiring to wiper motor

Cool. I have an '83 as well, if that's all you need I will post the info for you tonight after I am off work. The only possible difference will be if you still have the old piston-type washer pump. Mine is a new version that is an electric pump, so two red wires are connected to each other instead of on the wiper motor/washer pump. Like I said, though, I'll post the info and pics tonight

Edit: Fixed an error
