two ecm's

the other day i picked a fight i knew i couldnt win. i decided to race a newer corvette in my f150 pick-up. of course i lost. but it got me thinking about my camaro. i have an 85 iroc with a 350 tpi that someday i would like do a bunch of work to. this was my thought: is there a way to wire up two different ecm's with different chips that you could switch between somehow while driving. for instance, one ecm being programed for just daily driving and one programed for more of a racing purpose that you could toggle between. i dont know much about electronics it was just a thought i had and wondered if it was possible.

Burn two chips and swap them when you want to change driving style. It would require turning the car off between changes

A better option is to simply tune it for how you prefer to drive. Drive sensible and cruise wont be affected

Spend $175 on a Moates Ostrich
http://www.moates.net/product_info.p...roducts_id=169
and you can have any number of tunes.
Just plug laptop in and change tune; even while you are driving

Moates 2-timer would take care of this. Lots of people use them. you burn 2 tunes to 1 chip and switch between them. They seem to be more popular with boosted engines and nitrous applications though.
