Car: 1987 Trans am
Engine: 305 TPI
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: GM 10 bolt
Disconnected cruise control,Can this damage my car
I Disconnected my cruise wiring and removed the switch at the brake pedal. Can tihs cause any problems to the car.

I don't think so, it's a seperate accessory harness. I drove my car with non of the cruise control things plugged, it ran fine.

I Took everything to do with cruise control out, and no problems here either.

Put the brake switch back in and plug it up or your TCC will be in-op. The cruise plug is on the tail light switch while the cruise vacuum plunger is on the TCC switch 
Not sure why GM did it that way, but its how it is
