stupid "does my car have a computer" question
Its an 85 z28 4bbl 305. My air pump is making noises so I want to take it off and cap the air system. I read something about possibly adjusting the prom and whatnot or the sensors will read wrong. But I dont recall ever coming across a computer for the car. Just wondering.

The A.I.R. system is not checked by the ECM, only powered by it so you can remove it without issue in that regard

I didnt have an air system in my 84 t/a, and I removed it from my 88 Iroc (When it was stock) with no ill effects.
Your okay, but it is illegal to do so.
